Waleed came home in Januay 2005 after a brutal abduction and 10 years in illegal Israeli jail. He is now 32 years of age.
During the spring of 2005 he painted dozens of these huge murals all over the Jenin Refugee Camp and hee spent the rest of his precious time teaching children to paint and draw.
His art encompasses watercolor, gouache, oils, pastels, pencil drawing.
He writes poetry, painstakingly constructs amazingly detailed models as well as creating beautiful greetings cards. Oh, and he sings!
